I have an old
M4500, that has been sitting in the weeds for 10 years. You can imagine what it looked like, all flat tires, weeds up through the engine compartment, san/mud everywhere, cob webs, you get the picture.
A guy was on my property and asked about buying it ( after I stopped laughing ) I said Uh well, Hmmm, lemme see.
I told him let me pull it out of the mud and fill the tires up, and I'll give you a call.
I put a battery in it, filled up the tires, pressure washed it, and you guessed it - it fired right up and purred like a kitten.
I should have filmed it for a Kubota commercial.
I must have stood there for 15 minutes with my jaw on my chest staring at that beauty with the engine purring.
Don't ask me how or why, it just did.
Now I have to rethink selling that beauty.
