When I folded the ROPS down I dropped one of the snap pins in the dark but I found it in seconds with this bright light. It was also useful parking the tractor in it's garage since I don't have rear work lights. (I also used the hazard lights.)

I think next I'll figure out some sort of work lights that don't depend on having the tractor running.

I've used one for years. They're also great for hunting and fishing. They put the light right where you need it, are super bright and the batteries last for ever. You'll get strange looks from your deer camp buddies, but field dress one deer in the dark and they'll finally see the light. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Speaking of deer my brother in law got a 13 point buck last week.

The thing about this headlight is that this one is small enough to always have around in my pocket. So it's there for all those "you never know when you'll need it" uses. A bigger one could have more light, but then I might not have it when I need it.

They're a great tool. You learn not to look people in the eye, at night. It's a funny sight, four guys with headlamps, standing in a circle, staring at the ground while they talk.

This is the one I have, it certainly is a great tool to have. It has a 1 green LED mode that works well for most stuff and is easy on the batteries. I even bought some as gifts... it isn't something most people have around.
