I never watch it. Gave up on the evening news several years ago. Keep it hooked up for my wife who likes old television re-runs. So she watches that in the evenings while I read TBN.

I set my DVR to record the old Daniel Boone series... I've been enjoying watching those old shows along with Gunsmoke and a few others too...
I also DO listen to music stations too, I find lots of things to enjoy on TV, in the evenings after a days work.

I'm not a farmer, but more of a wanna be. I find myself watching RFD TV as much as anything.

News isn't what it used to be. There used to be news on the news now it's opinion spouted by talking heads then repeated ad nauseum. Anything to cut the costs. Gone are the days of Walter Cronkite and Huntley Brinkley.

We moved to TN and no TV signals to speak of. Gave it up for a year, just watched movies now and then. Life was peaceful.
Then I got a dish for the first time in my life and it really changed me.
Now it is O'Reilly and Hannity every stinkin' night. But I feel enlightened.
Then a movie a night and a few quality sitcoms like Lethal Weapon, Hawaii 5-0, Last Man Standing, Kevin Can Wait,
I am slowly getting sucked in. Maybe after the election I can start weaning myself again.

Trouble is Hannity, O'Reilly, Kelly and all the rest of the talking heads have the same thing to say and the very same material to cover all day long day in and day out so once you've watched one hour of it, you've seen them all and all they have to say. It's no longer news the third day though the same stuff. It's not just Fox, they all do the same thing and what I see on the others just isn't news, it's opinion. They are supposed to report the news, not try to make the news. For a break I even broke down and watched a little Russian Times the other day. How's that for desperate? Funny thing they seemed a little less commie than MSNBC and CNN.

I love Americas Funniest Videos on Sunday night, a few other shows & watch the crazy News for the weather, we have basic, only enough channels to see that there isn't something worth watching at times, PBS is a rather educational channel as well, a few fottball games occasionally.
Normally, weather permitting, i'm out on the 35 acres doing something or trying to trick a trout or two with a fly rod.
