I figured out why I hate tv

I confess, though, that I do have the TV on a fair amount ... for music. In fact, it's on right now, with SiriusXM Symphony Hall playing in the background while I piddle around the house this evening.

I just realized that I have not watched broadcast TV in almost a year. And I get that for free via Sat on account of some CRTC agreement.

Now, it' Netflix streaming mostly. But the good Docs are few in number.

My friend keeps getting me stuff like all the GOLD RUSH seasons, and it is entertaining, but too much drama, and too much stuff (obviously) left out of the (real) story. BTW, any idea what ever happened to Parker Schnablel, his grand dad, or that religious idiot in the jungle with his flip flops?

I haven't seen that show in quite a while, but I believe the grandfather Schnable died.

Slash Pine, couldn't agree more. Most television is just plain too stupid to watch and makes me think less of society in general for them watching it. I'm like Sawyer Rob, I record my shows then fast forward through commercials.

PJ, That Fishbone is sweet. I'm currently hooked on Ibanez'. Most bands I play in rarely want me up on the D or G string, so my 505 is my most recent addition. Nobody minds me going lower.... Played a Tobias 6, one time. That thing was awesome. Mostly just play in Church band now.

I'm down to just watching live sports and news. I'm not much for watching people pretend to be other people or the vast majority of reality garbage. Most of what is on TV is just a form of soap opera.

I don't watch as much TV as I used to. I spend the time surfing silly sites on the computer.

I quit watching TV about 12 years ago, haven't missed it a bit.
