In 1976, at my first home in Oregon, I unearthed this wheel from a trash pit. I've always wondered what it was used on. Please help me find out.It measers 18" diameter. In one picture you see praying mantis hatching from the egg case stuck behind the wheel. I was working below as they were emerging. I quickly ran and got my 1995 Kodak digital to capture the event.

Sorry; that's a little before my time...but it appears to be a disc wheel from a teens to twenties something vehicle. I couldn't find anything on the internet just like it, but disc wheels were in for awhile...and of course, they made so many different kinds of cars then also.

Thank you Xfax man. Looks as if I found buried treasure in southern Oregon.

You're welcome. I had searched "antique disc car wheels" for several pages with no luck. Then tried several other search terms and finally spotted that red wheel, it gave the info to find the other pictures. Glad to solve the puzzle :D.
