I am sick or is it am I sick

I will agree with 'climate change', but not with 'global warming'. Since mid January it has been cold like you wouldn't believe here. This morning it was -5F and that is the warmest it has been since January. We didn't get our usual January thaw this year and it is the first time in 20 years that I have had to clean the snow off the roof. I am expecting another big dump of snow. We usually get two huge dumps in a winter, we've had one now I just need to wait for the second one.
Am I sick of winter? Well, kinda. If spring comes in slowly then the flooding won't be too bad and the maple sap will flow good with a long season for it. BUT if spring comes in fast, the flooding will be astronomical and the sap season will be short.

We are in southern Ontario and our cold spell is due to end in a few days with the temp going up to minus 6-7 C. We have had less snow than normal, but it is all powder, no January thaw to put a crust on it or let it settle. Too cold to play on the skidoo even...The good thing is that there is NO ice on the driveway, only packed snow, which I can pop off with the bucket...

We nad no snow until the last couple of days in January, then all heck broke loose. Four weekends brought us 4 blizzards, each one dropping from 14 to 20 inches. Some areas even more. We're buried here. Temps have barely been out of the teens and have hit -13 F. It's been the snowiest February on record.

We haven't heard anything about global warming from anyone for some reason.

My Mom is almost 91 and she said she doesn't remember a winter here that got cold and had no breaks, just cold, glad I can't tell about-30f but it does help me feel better knowing what we have could be much worse.

Put me down as one also more than ready for Spring. Here in mid-Georgia the Jonquils are everywhere. Temp in the mid-30s this morning. No snow so far this year, but I am sure ready for some warm weather!

That snow originates with heat somewhere!
