I like those things although you can buy a gassser ARGO fairly new around here for 6 grand with tracks to boot..

Difference between toy and commercial grade. I have driven Argo 8x8 and the Hydrotraxx has more power and capacity. This new was $33K. Unbelievably stability and control. Down by the pond have had 4x4 trucks, tractors and 4-wheelers stuck. Will not even slow this down while staying clean and dry!

I like it! What will you use it for? Looks like, as you said, that it could go about anywhere.

Went to a hunting lodge one time, they had a 8x8 tracked ARGO and that thing could go just about anywhere. The guy told me he does get it stuck once in a while, hangs it up on the bottom, it had a winch on the front and the rear.

Odd that the tire treads are oriented for more traction in reverse.

Plan was to build some fish or prawn ponds for retirement and use this for feeding and maintenance. Plans change.

The tires are mounted that way to improve swimming speed.

That makes sense on cupping. I wonder if those old riverboat paddles flexed enough to get the same effect. They look straight above water.
