Hydrostatic How does it work mower

If the mower doesn't pull forewarrd is there any things that might be simple fix with hydrostatic. Trans? The mower is one of the K Mart kind like MTD or similar.

There may be an arm or a lever near or on the transmission that has to be closed. Maybe somebody opened it so it can be pushed by hand.

Sometimes it is just a little wire spring type device that you pull out and lock so you can free roll them. Look for one on each trans axle at the rear of the mower but I think some of the tractor type may only have one valve to open as opposed to ZTR mowers that have one for each wheel. Your operators manual should depict this if you have it. If not it may be online.

Was it acting strange previous to not moving? Check to see if any of the bolts attaching the linkage to the foot pedal or control lever came loose also if belt is turning the hydro.

It's my daughters mower. I do think it was acting funny. I'll ask her tomorrow. I'll probably look at it this week too.
