Tiller Hydro motor rec for tiller modification...

I'm trying to get an idea of what it would cost in the way of a hydraulic motor that could power a 4' tiller...tractor pump output is 5.8 gpm. Already have forward remotes and SCV with hold detent...

The thought is...is to make some brackets so the tiller could be mounted to either the loader bucket or just the arms (I do not have SSQA)...to where it could be used to till raised beds...

I know very little about hydro motors so any insight is appreciated...

I hate to be a bearer of bad news but your mule and the available power/hydraulic power it has are too small to run an implement that size with hydraulic power.

For the money the smallest BCS 2 wheel tractor with a rotary plow will till and build beds in the first pass.
but you will not get 14 inches deep for tillage with the smallest BCS tractor and rotary plow.

The low down is...I'm trying to think of a reason not to sell my tiller...since the majority of the garden is in raised beds....

Honestly though I only have 14 HP at the PTO and I never had to run the tiller at much above an idle...so I figured it would not really take that much to run it...actually I figured if I removed some of the tines I could do something similar with a small gas engine...

...Do not need to till but about 6"...the whole off the wall "thought" is to just save me from lifting the mini-tiller in and out of the beds and turning them up...would much rather do it from the seat...!
