It's worth a try to get it going. Even if it gets me going for awhile I would be happy

Anyone know a good way to break these free? I have put all my weight I. Them and not budging. I need to remove both of them to connect the new hose

Instead of the vise clamping that fitting even tighter, maybe two box-end wrenches to put the stress equally on all six points - ?

Or, a socket or box end wrench mounted in the vise then the fitting slipped into that. I think the clamping action of the vise is what is making this impossible.

Then there's always heat. As my second paragraph but with the female part of the joint heated from a propane torch to expand it. Maybe chill the male part with an ice cube.

I'd be too inclined to get those replaced to save me suffering. Not sure if you have a hydraulic shop near you.

I agree that the vise may be causing some grief here.

I honestly don't know but if I had to guess and they are an off the shelf item, I imagine somewhere in the 20-$30 range?

I bought some on Ebay that are Chinese clones of Parker ag fittings. Excellent quality and I think I paid under $10 per M/F set. I looked just now and I think around $20 per set, delivered.

But I would try to re-use that set first. You can replace the o-ring (in the other part) if it doesn't seal perfectly.

Turn it over, put the smaller one in the vice. If you have an impact wrench with a deep socket, it will come right off.

If not use a cheater pipe on a box end wrench.
