Anyone familiar with or have a Tankless Water Heater with Hydro-generated Ignition? It sounds perfect for my off-grid location. How reliable is it? A google search found 1 guy complaint about it take 10-15 minutes to start and doesn't work if it's windy outside. Minutes??? that's a lot of water wasted....

i had to ask google what hydro-generated ignition was....

"The latest development is a hydro-generated ignition system from Bosch, the AquaStar 125HX. It uses the flow of water to turn a miniature turbine that creates an electric spark that lights the pilot"

I could see how it uses some addtional water, but shouldnt be to bad.... if your going to plumb one in, you could always use a recurculator circuit in the plumbing so that you wernt running water down the drain.
