Ok folks the tractor is about to get the “spring cleaning”.

New fluid, filters, oil.

I’ll be draining and replacing all fluids except the coolant...

I already have oil, and hydro filters.
Will be buying air, and fuel filters.

Diesel rated oil is standard.. no biggy...

But I need to buy hydro and last 2 times I splurged and just bought kubota branded...

What do all of you use?

Tractor has 580 hours.. had a full change at 50 and 400. But it’s been 6 years since then... and I got complacent.. it’s about to start getting more use and needs a little work....

Just replaced the bucket with a WR LONG QA and forks..

I’m in the western NC area. So it seldom gets below 30 degrees...
And maybe once a year gets to single digits for a day or 3..

That to say I doubt I need super...

Btw.. I’ve been around the forum for a little while.. (new username- waiting to get merged with old account). and while I can use the search function I’m looking for new advice for fluids in the last 6 months..

I would stick with Kubota oil if thats what the manuals for your tractor call for, even if it calls for the Super UDT. Even though the Kubota brand oil may be more expensive, its still cheap insurance to use the recommended oil in your tractor.

I remember a few years ago there was a big discussion here about using kubota fluids versus tractor supply etc... and someone found a link that said kubota sudt was made by mobile or something...

And that it wasn’t worth the difference

Was that bung?

I also recommend sudt2, but personally I wouldn't change it before the scheduled hours regardless of time.

I don’t know who blends SUDT. If it is Mobil (note no E) that doesn’t mean that Mobil blends an oil with the same additive package under a different label. It is highly unlikely that there are real clones of any OEM oils out there.
You asked for opinions, you have mine. As with any oil question there will be many differing opinions and no clear answers.

This is my opinion also and what I do myself.
