How much fluid is needed for the complete service? I'd like to know so when I go buy it, I don't short myself and need to make another trip.

Best to look up the volumes in the owner's manual for your specific tractor. For the DK40se the numbers are 2.1 gallons engine oil, 11.1 gallons HST oil and 1.9 gallons gear oil for front axle. Plus oil filter, HST and hydraulic filters and fuel filter. The 50 hour and then every 200 hour changes are the most fluid/dollar intensive. Otherwise mostly just engine oil changes.
