I have the CCM top link with the DPOCV and a Fasse electrical diverter on my JD 4310. I added the Fasse so I could run my grapple and Hydraulic top link by flipping a switch. Please remember I'm ignorant when it comes to this hydraulic stuff

The diverter has four ports in the back. Two are used for the toplink. Can't remember if other ports are in use and tractor is 420 miles north, so I can't look so easy. Can I purchase the tilt part of the TnT and have the hoses connected to the ports, and be able to operate the Top and tilt. Remember I hate Hydraulics worse the electricity, h*ll worse than the dentist. HELP. Will anything need to be done, other than connecting the hoses to make the tilt work? Will I be able to operate my grapple at the same time.

I hope I made a little sense. HELP

Thanks TBN

Hydraulics, just like electricity, is actually pretty simple in theory. It can often get very technical but basic knowledge is the same between the two.

Think of the two (hydraulics and electricity) as water. They will always follow the path of least resistance. Find your source and think about where the least resistance of oil is. Then walk yourself down the line repeat. The valves in question will have constant pressure to them (generally) and without any action (valves or switches) the oil just returns back to the reservoir. Whenever a port is opened the oil will divert through the valve to the action necessary until it meets restriction (say the end of the stroke of a cylinder) at which point the excess oil goes to the reservoir.

Not sure if it helps you at all but, there is nothing to be afraid of with hydraulics if you understand the basic flow of the system. Electricity is a whole 'nother battle. Never be afraid but be darned sure to respect the power.

Whether you hate hyd or not, is irrelevant, as that is part of the tractor, and either you or someone you pay will have to trouble shoot and fix it. So knowledge on your part will save you lots of money.

You say you have the diverter valve and a grapple. A diverter valve switches the hyd flow from the curl cyl to the grapple cyl. Now you say you have a T-N-T. Is it connected to anything?

Can you show picture of the diverter valve. front and back. What do you have at the back of the tractor for hyd flow?

I have 4 Hydraulic ports on the back. Two hoses connect the CCMHydraulic cylinder to the rear of the tractor. I can't tell you any more because tractor is 430 miles away. Pics won't follow for 2-3 weeks. Mike I have a Fasse electric diverter, if that helps.

JJ thanks for responding. You help many of us mechanically challenged tractor owners

You will have to find out if the diverter block that Fasse uses can be "stacked" meaning two or more bolted together to add more ports.

Here is an example of one that can: It's # 9-7852 from the Surplus Center but they are out of them now so I can't link to it:(

But here is an example of what I am talking about in this thread: 3320 diverter installed - TractorByNet.com
