I'm a hydraulics noob and am trying to figure out how to hook up a log splitter to my TC-33D. The pressure out is pretty obvious but where does the return line connect, to pressure return or to reservoir return? When would you use one over the other?

Do you have a set of remotes you are tapping from.. or are you tapping hyds off another location.. like a diverter block.

Is your splitter spring return and SA.. or DA/hyd return?

It would be a DA/hyd return. No remotes on my tractor. I was planning on connecting directly to the hydraulic block on the right side of the engine by adding some quick couplers.

If your splitter is using a DA cyl.. you will need a DA spool valve. If the splitter has it's own valve.. and it is OC.. it will need a pressureline from the tractor, and return line to the sump. Make sure you know what/where to tap power off of..
