Welcome to TBN.

Please clarify the issue here. Is it completely dead?

We kind of need a lot more details than that.

How many hours it has? HST or Gear transmission? Was it serviced recently? Is this the first time you have this issue?

First thing to do is with the tractor off, have someone cycle the pedal back and forth, and visually check the linkage from the pedal to HST.

i had this happen to a new 2005 l3400 kubota. ended up being a cracked internal casting allowing fluid to bypass. i wasnt too thrilled when the guy at the dealership accused me of burning up the clutch.... on an hst tractor.

Another GC2300 hydraulic pump shear.

Transmission needs to be removed and disassembled. And the pump needs to be replaced, as well as the drive gear.

It's an expensive repair.

MF really stuck it to us with this.

1600 hours. Hydro, Serviced two years ago. Fluids are checked before each use. Starts with the loader getting slow and ends up the machine will not move until it cools down….

Your between a rock and a hard place. It may be overheating, or the hydraulic pump spline is worn out. The scuts are hard on fluids, they run very hot. The cooling fan on the driveshaft is very important. Ensure all the blades are there. The last fluid change may have been crap oil, or been overheated and is thinned out too much. Without actually seeing it, I would check the cooling fan, change out the hydro oil (might as well keep the old filter on). If there is no improvement, then a hard decision has to be made about pulling the pump and inspecting for damage on the pump and mating gear splines in the HST. It wil set you back a couple thousand just for parts if its the pump/HST gears.
