Here is a drawing I made on how I plan to plumb the hydraulic lines to my home made grapple. (There are pictures of a wooden prototype that I made posted on the Build-It Yourself forum. The thread is titled, "Wooden BX23 Grapple.")
The two main components I plan to use are:
1) Double selector valve Surplus Center's Item# 9-5117-A
2) Cylinder--Surplus Center's Item# 9-7257-6
Does anyone have suggestions for a better way to do it?
One question I have is what kind of adapters do I buy to go from the existing lines to the double selector valve and from the double selector valve to the existing lines? My present thought process is to buy the valve and the grapple cylinder and then go to a hydraulic shop and get the adapters that I need.
Thank you,
A. Metcalf
