New Holland TC35D
I have a NH TC35 and my bucket while running is desinding pretty fast. It has gotten worst over the last several weeks. I have unhooked the loader up/down lines and the bucket remains levels and does not decline. I have checked connections and am at a lost. My next theory is the control spool.Has anyone worked on or rebuilt one ?

With your check by disconnecting, it can only be the joystick dual remote valve. I don't know about repairing the valve. Certainly, repair parts are available from New Holland. Do you know how to look up the parts on a dealer's website or directly from New Holland? I think I'd see what the parts will cost and weigh that against finding another similar Prince dual joystick valve and replace the whole thing.

If you need help with finding parts, I'll post back, but you can enter your loader model at Messicks.com and get a repair parts estimate from their online illustrated parts catalogs. Click on the NH logo on the home page and then enter 16LA in the model number box. The seal kit is about $50.

Before you do all that, make sure the valve levers are actually centered. You can remove the ends of the valve and check the springs, and bolts/nuts. Those levers are supposed to be spring center, but if the springs are loose, Guess what.

Thanks..I will check that and post back what I find...I was also thinking of switching the up/down lines with the roll and see if the bucket stays put...that should help narrow it down..right?

Yes. that is correct.

Are you saying that you raised the lift arms in the air and disconnected something. Were those QD's. You might have trouble plugging them back together with residual pressure in the lines/hoses.

Well I switched the hoses and now the bucket declines slower..but still declines quickly..in 45 minutes running at 1000rpm it dropped 18"..I did notice when I take the bucket up overhead and let go of the joy stick it drops about 4-6 inches and then catches..Pretty sure it may be spool springs or something in valve like you said. Next project take off and tear down.
