Hydraulically driven Generator

I've done a Google search but am coming up empty handed. Does anyone manufacture a generator that can be attached to a ToolCat/Skidsteer and powered off the hydraulics?

We had a hydragen on one of our fire trucks it was a good thought at first
That is it ran great no problems with it
On a fire truck we had to run too high rpm and then gate the discharge valves down to required pressure to the hoses

Googling "hydraulic generator" (with the quotes) gets lots of hits. There may not be one labeled for your specific application, but all you should have to do is match the hydraulic requirements, fab mounting or housing as needed, and have the hoses made up.

as tommum mentions look closely at the hydraulic requirements and the revs you'll need to run the TC at, A decent genset these days should handle varying input speeds and give constant voltage out as per the honda inverter gensets

the problem with ours was the flow issue on the pump to keep flow good at idle (truck engine) would have over driven the pump at max engine speed so they had to work from max engine speed backwards.

it was the one of the best setups i have seen on a fire truck on a rescue truck or a service truck i wouldent hesiate to put another because the pump compensated for the rpm differance in engine speed to keep gen at the correct speed just for a pumper it would need some more planing and engineering
on a skid steerer I'm not sure how the pump can regulate the flow like the pump on the hydragen did it would have to be done at the motor with some sort of govner feedback to control the flow and presure via the generator speed

i guess like all things in life - just keep inserting dollars to get the right solution first time.
