Hydraulic valve help

Does someone care to take a look at the attached picture on the right and explain to me how it works? The picture on the left makes perfect sense to me. Home position is where P, T, A, & B are, and depending on which solenoid is powered determines which side it goes to.
The right picture is probably simple, it just doesn't make sense to me. Is home still P, T, A, & B? And if energized does it go all the way to the block on the right, or the middle one?
Thanks for help with the newbie question.

It goes by the middle one during transition but ends up all the way to the right (resulting in P to B, T to A when energized)

So it never stops at the middle one, just goes by it as its energized?
