Hydraulic/Transmission Oil

Can anybody recommend which oil to use? I just purchased land and this Kioti DK65S with 15' brush hog came with it and the dipstick is showing no fluid in it. I can't find a manual form it so looking for suggestions. Thanks

For the Kioti you can use TSC premium hydraulic fluid. Many on the board use it.

For the brush hog, I think you need to use gear oil 80-90 wt for that. Your post is somewhat ambiguous as to which machine you want input for.
Not trying to be a smart-butt, just an observation.

can't say in your case, bet another forum member will.... but need to know the make/model of hog

Any of the good THF fluids is fine. The Tractor Hydraulic Fluid (THF) is also good for the transmission and wet brakes vs a hydraulic fluid that would be just for hydraulics. I have had good luck with Chevron THF 1000. My local store has it in bulk. The nicer stuff will work better when cold- you won’t get the groaning noises. Some love and some hate the TSC fluid.
