I've been lurking for months;learned a lot from you all.
I recently bought a B2910 with 17 hours. The owner had a hydraulic top link installed by a dealer.
I ordered an LA-402 loader from a nearby dealer and it finally came in (1 month wait). They're picking up my tractor tomorrow to install it, probably at the first of the week. The service guy (who hasn't seen the tractor) says it'll be a problem to install the loader, since the top link uses the front hydraulic outlet, where the loader connects. He says he'll either have to T into the front lines, or can possibly move the top link lines to the rear outlet, and plumb the loader "where it belongs." What should I do-what is best, most practical, etc.? I'd like to keep it as simple (read cheap) as possible, but I don't want a tangle of hoses everywhere. What do you see as my options, and which is preferrable. Thanks! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I'm a long ways from being a hydraulic expert, but if it were me I'd have him plumb the front end loader according to the manual. Then he could either use the rear outlet for the top link (which is what I did on my B2710) or he could use the power beyond port on the loader valve to continue on to the top link valve.

I am in the process right now of puting the parts together to do this on my B2710. My friend who owns a hydraulic repair shop contacted Kubota and they said the correct way to plumb the TNT on a 2410, 2710 or 2910 is to use the rear aux hydraulic block since you don't have to use a PB line assuming the loader is installed according to specs. That is why Kubota put it (the block) there.

Plumb your loader according to its manual using the front hydraulic block. This way if there is any problems you will be covered warranty wise, assuming you will get a warranty with the loader.

I used that hydraulic block and you don't need a very high capacity valve then for your top 'n tilt because you only have about 4.5 gpm flow through there (whether you have the extra valve for top 'n tilt or not).
