Hydraulic top link on a BX1850

Does anyone know where I would need to tap into the hydraulic system on a new BX1850 to add a auxillary hydraulics like a top link? I'm pretty handy, but also pretty ignorant about hydraulucs.

You have a FEL right?

That being the case, place your stand alone open center aux valve in series with the loader valve's power beyond outlet. I have posted several dozen times the correct method for plumbing an aux valve using this scenerio.

If you don't have a FEL it is slightly easier. You just connect your open center aux valve with power beyond in the exact same maner in which you would connect the loader valve using the tractor's front hydraulic block. A diagram of the block can be found in the loader manual which can be downloaded from the internet. Sorry, but I don't have the link handy right now. I'll post it later tonite if you need it.

The tractor hydraulic block will have 2 ports and a third port just beside it for the return to tank line. Your aux valve must be configured for power beyond just like the loader valve. You will need to purchase the actual hydraulic block. You remove a cover plate and screw in the block. The power beyond and inlet hoses from the aux valve plug into ports on the block.

I believe the loader for your tractor is an LA211 or one similar. You can see the hydraulic block and its connections by looking in the parts manual. You can find it HERE.
