He certainly did because he sold me the plug but he told me the fluid would come out of the second valve tank port because the power beyond goes into the in port of the second valve to give the second valve the same pressure as the first valve body

Well, he is right about the second valve, as you do have a hose in the tank port.

I can not think of a single instance where someone would plug a tank port.

The cyl expended fluid has to go somewhere, and if it can not, the cyl would not work, or the motor would not run.

It would deadhead the pump, and if the relief could not take care of the over pressure, then something will break.

Did you purchase the motor from Surplus?

No I had the motor before I started the project,purchased second hand

went to princess auto today, they replaced the motor no cost,admitted they made a mistake,made for a happy shopper,dropped another 150 bucks on high pressure fittings to make everybody happy. fired her up and everything works great finally. Special thanks to JJ for all your input and knowledge.

Glad you got it going. And happy they owned up to their mistakes and made it right with you. Thats getting to be a rare thing these days without having to pull teeth
