On occassion my Woods 1006 FEL won't go up. Lower (or lift) a tiny bit the 3pt hitch and it works fine and dandy.

Hydro fluid levels look fine.

Once upon a time I thought it was a valve issue, but for some resaon I'm thinking there could be an air pocket (I have a simple mind and look for simple, cheap, cost effective solutions first).

I know that Woods boom valve was pricey... trying to aviod that after all the truck repair costs.

Best thing you can do is too put a gage on there and see if the pressure is normal.
