Hydraulic piston

Hello everybody,

I am new at this forum and I have a question for the ones who can help:

I need to plan a hydraulic piston that is normally open.
I can not trust the operator to open the piston, so he will have only to close the piston by hand and it`s need to be open automaticly.
It need to be open after 30 seconds and after 10 seconds of delay.

Who can help me with a solution for that?

Thank you,
I am talking about the piston not the valve, but maybe the solution will be on the valve.

It`s a double side piston that connect the device to the frame when the piston is open, and diconnect when it`s closed.
I need that the piston, after using it, will go back to it`s open mode.

Sounds like you need a electronic circuit and solenoid controlled relays...
Any chance you could post a picture of the machine this will be used on?
Edit, what do you mean by "open after 30 seconds and after 10 seconds of delay" Do you mean that it needs to stay open for 30 seconds then close, or???
