Anyone have one I could get specs from. Looks like a simple build for fel, but they want big bucks for them. Want to use it for tree planting with 24" auger.

Im building 2 different styles of one right now for my backhoe and excavator. One is just a hydraulic motor on a plate with a ssprocete and shaft running from it to a sprocket on the bearing and shaft assembly from a combine part. I dont think it will work too good. THe other one is a hydraulic motor and a Fairfield Torque hub planetarey that came out of an older excavators swing mechanism. The otor was bad but i had another hydraulic motor that was smaller and had the same splind shaft on the end of it. Im working on finding a splined coupler to attach my augers adapter shaft to the splines.

The pics I've seen for skidsteers look like direct drive. I'm trying to find a motor to match those, but don't know displacement. I can make it work from there....I think.

just about any small hydraulic motor could make a phd. Im ising a .090 CI displacement internal gearmotor on on of them. the direct drive version because it another application of this auger will be used to bore under houses when I install new septic tanks I have to bore under footers. It will be a litle slower than a pto digger.

most of the hydraulic phd use a torque hub which you will need with a 2 ft auger. Larry
