hydraulic oil location

This may be a question that is obvious but i am really overlooking.. someone please tell me where i can check the hydraulic oil level.. i have looked in the manual and also online.. but no luck

I'm not sure which model you have, but the hydraulic dipstick should be on the rear of the tractor, on the right side of the axle case. It's black, just like the axle, so it is a bit obscure.

i have a ls r4041.. is the knob? i havent opened it yet, but noticed this yesterday on way out.. took a quick picture.. i looked thru that manual twice again and still dont see where says location

ok, tried taking off but its stiff.. didnt want to break it.. does it screw off or just pull off?

Pull straight out....it's tight so it doesn't leak.
