Noticed the other day that my hydraulic oil guage was leaking oil. I thought it was a screw in, and I thought I tightened it out while I was working. When I brought it back in, It looks like there is some type of rubber fitting and it appears to be broken. Does anyone have a part number for this, Or have a remedy to fix this?

I also need a part number for a pto cable- I've been through 4 in 5 years.

Thanks

No Kubota comes with a hydraulic pressure gage as standard equipment. I believe you are referring to the black rubber plug at the gage top. It's glycerin filled gage and the plug is where it's filled.

The gage was added, again it's not factory.

Just get a new one and toss the old one. They are about 15 bucks at TSC.

The fluid is for dampening the guage, mostlikely filled with glycerin.. It will work without oil, but it depends on the shock of the Hyd.oil?

I think you are talking about the Sight glass on the side of the transmission? Yes, they crack and leak, about $5 I think... I need one too.

If you have a dealer, he'll know what you are talking about and don't need the number...

Yes I proactively replaced my sight glass when I changed my hydraulic fluid out the last time as I had heard of reports of the original one leaking. They have modified it I believe.

Yes guys- I was talking aout the sight glass. I should talk to my dealer about changing the bracket for the pto cable. I guess I will have to swing in there this weekend.

I have more than one of those. In techinical terms it's referred to as a visual bulkhead fitting. The plastic lens is secured between to '0' rings.

I'm sure Kubota has a replacement and they are available at MSC Industrial Supply as well.
