So here it is, I crawl underneath my 3320 today to start my first Hydro filter and oil change and low and behold, my Woods backhoe sub frame is about 1/2 an inch in front of the filter cover. It comes across at an angle and I think I can get at the cap screws holding the cover in place but I can only come straight out abot 1/2 inch and then I would have to pull it off the rest of the way at an angle. I spent about an hour on the JD parts site but could not find the cover to see its shape. I also am confused about the suction line that comes off the side of the cover. Because of the subframe in the way, I cannot figure out how to seperate it from the cover. The issue is that to remove that side of the subframe, I am looking at several hours of work.
I APPRECITE AND WELCOME ANY ADVICE.....

Sorry to hear that. Did you get the tractor/BH from the same dealer at the same time?

The tractor and backhoe were bought as a package.

I just found a post on changing the filter and it sounds as though the filter cap just spins off. If that is the case, I may just have to slide the filter out past the subframe.

Did mine last week (3520( . The filter cover just screws off about 1/2 ". The filter is long though 10" so that subframe might be a issue . I would consider fabing up a ifferent bracket for ease of accesability . Yes I know it's not often unless you are a commercial guy but to me if something is hard to get to it because of a bracket it gets recomfigured. Sotty for my spelling glasses are out in the barn.
