I snagged a tree under my 2510 hst, and pulled off the rubber hose that I think feeds the valve under the passenger side foot.

I have got the hose back on, but there is a larger metal hose that comes off what I assume is the hydraulic pump on the passenger side of the engine, and goes down under. Goes into a rubber hose then into another metal hose to the rear, this is also where the smaller rubber hose I pulled off is.

My question, the two large metal hoses are not lined up, the front one is probably 1/2 to 3/4" higher then the back line. So that is putting the rubber hose into a very sharp S almost.

I don't recall looking at it prior, can anyone confirm that this is not how it should be? I can probably replace the line coming off the pump without to much trouble if it's bent. Not sure if I could bend it back down without to much stress on the pump.

Thanks for any advice!

That is the suction line for the pump. Whatever you hit bent it up so you should be able to bend it back down so it is more in line. You do not want a leak there as it will pull air into the system.

So if it went up it should come back down without causing damage back the other way you think? Or should I try to take it off first.

I think it will come back down. It will be harder to do with it off the pump.
