Hydraulic leak on JD 2350

I posted this in Hydraulics but haven't gotten any responses. I have a hydraulic leak at the pump but can't seem to located where it's coming from. Hoses seem to be in good condition. Any ideas on what/where to look?

First thing I would check is the overflow line (not exactly sure what it's called.) It is a little 3/8" plastic line that runs from the pump body to the top of the transmission. The get old and crack, sometimes a very small unnoticeable crack can cause a leak. Since 1985 we've had to replace that line twice on our 2550.

That's about the only easy one to check, if it isn't that it has to be at one of the seals or fittings.

The line that Verticaltrx is the pump seal drain line. I agree it could be cracked or the pump shaft seal quad-ring could require replacement. Replacing quad-ring requires dis-assembly of the frt hyd pump.

Ok, I've checked for line going back to transmission and can't find one. Also doesn't seem to be coming from seal at front of pump. It seems it's spraying oil from somewhere but I can't get it to do it unless I'm driving the tractor. There's oil residue on fuel tank and lots of oil on each side under fuel tank. Is there anywhere online to find a schematic of the hydraulic system?
