If you go to a larger hose diameter, you may starve the pump of oil. 1/4" hose will be fine to accomplish what you need. Max I would suggest is 3/8" hose.

By my calls your fluid velocity with 1/4 inch hose will be less than 18 feet/minute which is fine. Don't really get concerned until fluid velocity gets over 20 ft/min.
