I had my woods backhoe on my 2006 DK35 and the hydraulic lines run underneath got caught on something and broke the fitting. I replaced the fitting and now I need to put new hydraulic fluid. Any suggestions on brand. Also amount and do I need to bleed the system ?
Thankyou

I can only answer this for you: You do NOT need to bleed anything, the system will self-purge the air as you move the controls. I'm sure your manual will detail what type of fluid, and fill till it shows in the sight glass and/or on the dipstick.

I used to buy john deere hydraulic but now I get it at Wal Mart in the 5 gallon buckets.

Make sure to get tractor transmission/hydraulic oil that is made for wet brakes.

I use Mobilefluid 424.
