Looks low to me, if it's on level ground, and loader & 3 point are as low as they can go ...

Move it so the back is lower than the front, you should see a slightly yellowish/orangy fluid in it, correct level will be halfway up the sight glass when parked on flat ground with loader and three point all the way down ...

This mine, I have red dye in mine ...

ETA - just snagged this picture from another post ... With the Kubota's fluid in it

i changed the filter and didn't add any fluid. guess i need to add some. the 3 point is all the way up when i took the photo but the FEL is all the way down.

The 3 point up or down doesn't make a big difference, just easier to check the level in a consistent way every time, so I do mine down ... My sight glass is on the back of the tractor, so less in my way ... Unless the backhoe is on!

A gallon of the Kubota SUDT fluid will be in the low $30's ... Add just a little at a time, and you will see it come up in the glass.

In any case, this makes checking easier.

Yes, but this is cheaper in the long run, and what I actually used ... https://www.zoro.com/kingscote-dye-...red-4-oz-506250-r4/i/G5130815/#specifications ...

That picture was 6 drops per gallon of hydraulic fluid, but I only put 2 drops in now, put it in the jug of fluid, as it WILL stain your tractor and your fingers too!

This is the 2 drop per gallon on uneven ground, but shows how it can stain, when full strength!

I usually go for cheaper but the John Deere dye is approved for use in the Kubota HST transmissions and will not void the warranty. I can afford the cost difference.

To the best of my knowledge, all modern FEL's have double-acting cylinders. This means the location of the bucket is immaterial to level of oil. Since the 3-pt is only pressurized up, it should be down.

Well ... Personal experience tells me that if the loader is up, the level in the sight glass is lower ... And my manual says to check with it down ...
