Hydraulic fluid fill

Had the hydraulic fluid and filter change by an LS dealer. I noticed that the dipstick for the hydraulic fluid reads full to the top of the second notch on the stick. I thought it was supposed to be somewhere between the notches. should I be concerned? Should I drain some out? MT345.

How much/little/not at all have you run the tractor? Fully drained, your tractor has channels and cavities inside that may not be filled with fluid if you have not yet run the tractor. Take it for a slow, easy ride and operate it through the gears and hydraulic functions, then check oil level.

Your good. The top line is full and between the lines is safe. If I remember correctly it's about 2 quarts between the two lines.

The top mark will indicate full. The bottom mark is to indicate too low. Anywhere between the marks is good but even with the top mark is ideal.

When I check the hydraulic fluid level, I make sure all of the rams are in a closed position (not extended), then make sure the level is between the markings

If I check mine on my sloped driveway, it reads overfilled. Flat ground is just right. The slope is almost not noticeable, so just another thing to check.
