Hydraulic fluid has started coming out of the filler cap on the top of the transmission. I has just started doing this. The 3 point lift seems to be working fine. (YM1700) I saw a thread about this that said to check the vent tube under the seat. A dirt dobber may have clogged it up. My real question though is I want to remove it and make sure it is properly cleaned out. Does it just unscrew? I was thinking some vise grips or small pipe wrench would work? I did not want to damage it getting it off.

Check the little inverted u shaped tube on the 3pt lift unit, top just behind the seat. If it is plugged It can cause this.
