Looking to add a hydraulic top link to my Kubota L4240. I have found the correct length cat1 piston but need a flow restrictor. On the piston, the fittings are 3/8 npt. Anyone know where to buy a fitting? So it will be from the Pistons fitting, flow restrictor then hydraulic hose.
Thx in advance.

Flow restriction is easy to make.
Braze an appropriate fitting closed and then drill a tiny hole , like 3/32 and your flow will be restricted.\
If that is too slow drill next size up 'til yo get the speed you want.

Here ya go.

I would get 1/2" and install up next to the male coupler on the hose. Also you will find that it actually works better to have one on each hose. ;)

TSC carries them in the hydraulic fittings dept.

What is the cylinder bore diameter? A 2" bore diameter will need an orifice hole diameter of not much over 1/32". A 3/64" diameter might be too large depending on how slow you want the cylinder to operate and the system relief pressure setting.

Surplus center 3/8 NPT 8 GPM PRINCE WFC-600 IN-LINE FLOW CONTROL
ITEM NUMBER: 9-7960-6. With this you can set where you want and change it when you want.

I made a snowplow for my Cat out of a old Fisher plow. We has to use flow restrictiors on the angle Pistons. They were purchased at the local machine shop and installed on the hydrolic hoses. Very inexpensive and easy as it gets.

Why would you want one all they do is overload the hydraulic system and if you are moving right along and go to move your top link the flow restrictor just kills the engine and your momentum.

I removed all of mine and tossed them. Mine is an L3940 cab with HST (highly stupid transmission). Yours will do the same. Learn to feather the remote valve you'll be glad you did.

I restricted the fitting on wood splitter wedge by tapping the inside of the fitting and screwing in a 3/8 bolt. I sawed the bolt of and then drilled a 1/8 hole thru it to allow oil to flow. cyl is a 1 1/2 in bore with 6in stroke. With full oil flow, it would lift so fast the wedge would jump off the beam. I did use it for a long time just feathering the control, but found that when I was trying to work fast, I would tend to jerk the lever instead of feathering. With the restriction I can jerk the lever all I want and the wedge just lifts nice and slow.
