Anyone have any tricks when just changing Hydraulic filter?

just do it quickly, have everything ready, a clean 5 gallon bucket underneath and you will be able to filter the oil and put it back. depending on the location where the filter is in respect to the diffy or oil reservoir yo can jack the front of the tractor up to have most oil back in the diffy and then change the filter to reduce loss. That's how I did my 50 hr on Kubota. at the dealer they just wet the gasket on a new filter, undo the old and spin the new one in and then top it off. if you have a magnet there with the filter yo want to make sure not to miss it or cleaning the old one and reuse. My kubota had a magnet to grab minor shaving after engine break in period.
