Oil & Fuel Hydraulic Filter

It is time to replace the hydraulic filter in my 254. Which brands and type can I use?

If you do not have a local dealer there in your country, you can order parts from several online Mahindra parts dealers. If you Google 'Mahindra Tractor Parts' you will get several to choose from. I don't know if your filter is on the suction or pressure side. The pressure side filters are built heavier to stand the hydralic pressure and are quite a bit more $$$$$ [ pounds in your case ]. Maybe someone will chime in with some info on Napa or other filters that will fit, but if not, you could just order a stock filter and be done with it. Good luck, Jerry ...

a dealer will be your best bet... i dont think the 254 is/was sold in the US so I'm not sure how much help we will be.

I think they are sold in the US as the manual I have is for the US model 2525. Have your heard of that?

There are dealers on this site that might ship you stuff overseas. I just bought some German reflectors from a trailer place in England and the shipping was not too bad. Here is a link for the complete filter kit for the 2525 from one of the online parts dealers. If you can't find an aftermarket filter, the stock kits are not that expensive...

9540052BBS is the OEM part number.

a few online mahindra sites have the filter element for about $9. I'm not having much luck trying to cross it to an aftermarket filter source.
