Hydraulic filter for Deutz 5220

Hi, I'm new to the forum and could really use some help from you experts. One of my tractors is a Deutz Allis 5220 I'm trying to find a hydraulic spin on filter for her. I took the filter off and it's pretty gunked up. I don't know the replacement number as the only markings on it is 2C10. They internal part of the filter is metal, can I clean the filter?

I've got the same problem looking for a hydraulic filter for mine...

The replacement filters listed at NAPA and other parts houses is for a cartridge filter NOT a spin-on. The Wix list mentioned above is for a cartridge, not a spin-on.

A local tractor dealer located a spin-on to order, but wanted $63.00 for it... -bag that !!! Same filter for the 5230 model - both have that Hinamoto engine.

Sure would like to know a compatible cheaper Wix type... the screw on looks like a 3/4" fem. pipe thread, and the filter diameter is larger than most oil filters.

Good workhorse, I got it with 520 hours on it 2 years ago -but I should have looked into parts availability.

Well well well... it pays to Google !

Seems like someone else was ticked about the $63 tractor dealer price like I was, and simply had a Chinese manufacturer produce several hundred of them. Now he is offering them at $8.95 ea. on e-bay... good for him ! (and us

I just got a spin on Hydraulic filter from a AGCO dealer part # 3435446M1. Cost 39.93 which is outrageous but better than the 63.00 I've seen others post for the 5220 Deutz-Allis.
