By your description they sound like pilot operated directional valve. Have you tried pushing on the end of them to see if the spool moves freely similar to what kenny posted?

They were stuck. The spring had corroded, probably due to moisture in the HYD fluid.

Thanks for posting the pictures of those valves. Were the spools also corroded?

Hi, the spools were hard anodized and in good shape. They were in bad need of cleaning. I just buffed them with scotchbrite pad lightly.

They are apparently directional diverters. The spool, or plunger inside is stuck in the "in" position. I tried 150 PSI of air and even a small pick tool to move it. techzpod download mobdro
