I took the hydraulic cylinder off of the loader for my BX2230. This was the center cylinder that controls the dump of the bucket. It was leaking.

I took it into the dealer, who repaired it in 15 minutes, under warranty. My question is, when I put the cylinder back on, is there anything I need to be concerned about? Do I need to somehow bleed the system or do I just work the joystick and things will start working, once the cylinder gets pressurized?

I don't have a PHD, but I believe the latter, just work the stick repeatedly.
Check your fluid level.

Just work the joystick so that the cylinder cycles completely a few times. It will self bleed.
