Good Morning everyone.

I have to rebuild the curl cylinders on my fel soon. I have the rebuild kit and now I just need the time to get started. I have a question during re-assembly. Should I assemble it with as much hydraulic oil inside as I can get without making a mess, or should I just use enough oil for the assembly? I guess what I'm asking is, once I re-connect the rebuilt cylinders to the tractor, how do I get all of the air out?

Thanks all in advance!

Assemble the cylinder on the loader dry, then to purge, you simple cycle the cylinders in and out a couple times.

It will take a while to fill up the cylinder before it starts moving.

Once you see that the cylinders are moving smoothly and not jumping due to the air inside, you're good to go. Check the hydraulic level after as it will get lower.

I concur. :)
