Is a longer hydraulic cylinder stronger than a shorter cylinder with the same diameter, same side rod, and same psi? I have seen several hydraulic output calculators and most only take the diameter of the cylinder and the rod diameter into account.
Does a 12" long 3" cylinder with a 1" rod at 2500psi push exactly the same power as a 36" 3" cylinder with a 1" rod at 2500psi?

Yes, its the same force.

Yes, same force. Input pressure and diameter are what determines force. The rod size only affects the retract force for most cylinders and has no effect on the extend force.
