I have a Ford 1210 tractor w/front mounted snowblower. It has a Metro 3 spool control valve( I didn't know what to call it, my neighbor knew) That contorls blower up/down, shute direction and shute angle. One side has control handles (3 individual) the other has the hydro in and out and 3 more aluminum caps with small holes in the center. I took one off and it has a spring showing. Now to my problem, while moving the conrol levers a small amount of hydro comes thru the hole in the cap( only 2 of them have this leak). With the help of the neighbor we replaced the o-rings in each but they still leak when the control is operated. Sorry so long with this. What would you guys do next? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know. That was the 'easy' fix that you did. What quality of O ring did you use, perhaps try some top notch O rings, not the cheapest in a box from China if that is what you tried first? On my big Ford they have a special white ring for some hyd places, the regular blacks won't hold up.

It would come down to the stem inside the O ring being worn I guess, if the O rings don't take care of it? Did you look at themfor any scratches? Also it is not too hard to pinch an O ring when you reinstall, could be that they just got damaged on the install.

Hoping to find an easy fix for you.... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
