Anyone ever heard of or seen an attachments for a hydraulic breaker on a tractor? I have seen them on skid steers. Just curious if they make them for tractors or not.

Skidsteers have arms that are a bit more stout than loader arms on a tractor. They are the primary & more or less only interface for a SS, but are a poorly placed afterthought on a tractor.

I'm sure you could put a SSQA breaker on a loader with a SSQA mount. Whether you'd have enough hydraulics to run it would be questionable, but less so than whether or not it would be a good idea for the longterm viability of your tractor.

Hydraulic breakers are hard on pins and bushings , I personally would rent a machine with one on it instead of putting the increased wear in my personal machine.

I 2nd PILOON. You need to get the breaker gpm. Then see weather the tractor has enough. Most tractors I have seen on high demand hydraulic work have a supplimentary hydraulic tank driven off the pto. ie roadside mower, road sweep, etc

Thanks. Good stuff to know. I'm guessing the ones for small bobcats aren't very effective anyway.
