hydraulic bob-tach

FYI - hydraulic bob-tach will soon be available on the toolcat. Dealer says he had seen a promotional picture of it. Price? I don't know if it can be retrofitted.

i can see the advantage of this; however, the toolcat is soo much easier to get in and out of than a skid steer. I think this will be less important to us tc owners - unless you run a business and switch non hydraulic attachments all day long. also, my mowers, blower, and broom all use aux hydraulics which necessitate a visit to the front anyway. i would hope they would not make it standard, increasing the cost. options are always good for those with a specific need.

No, it won't be standard but instead an option like on skid steers. On skid steers, it is about a $1,200-1,300 option. I agree, if you have to hook up hydraulics, it doesn't have much benefit. I have it on a used skid steer I bought a few months ago. It is very handy at times but not critical. It works best for me changing between smooth bucket, tooth bucket, pallet forks, and small manlift. With grapple forks, grapple bucket, trencher, tree shear, tree spade, I still have hydraulics to hook up.

I don't see the advantage for a tc unless you change non hydraulic implements often. I like the power bobtach on my s300 but that's because I life heavy implements off my flatbed often on uneven terrain. The thought of a locked down attachment is somewhat comforting. Since i switch between 4n1 bucket and grapple on tc, I have to hook up hoses anyway so I might as well get out and do the bobtach.
