HYDRAULIC AUGER CONTROL LEVER LOCKED

My Wheatheart High & Heavy Hitter unit has set for a while (1 year) under cover. Checking it out for use and the control lever for engaging the auger (Forward / Reverse) is frozen/locked up. All other controls in the attached photos function as they should. Thoughts or suggestions?

It is possible that the pivot on the lever rusted while sitting or can on other end from lever that covers centering spring is full of crud. Can you carefully lift up that rubber boot around lever pivot to see if it is binding?

RESOLVED - Moisture did intrude under the cap covering the lever arm's connection with the plunger resulting in the plunger being frozen in place.

More likely condensation build up over time.
I was going to suggest this but you're AL location and freezing in late April didn't jive with my thoughts.
Wheatheart makes some nice pounders. Take the other caps off and wipe them out while you're at it.
