I was wondering on N series hinomoto or others which models have electric controled 3pt and which have side to side or top tilt options for 3pts in the grey tractor areas?

Any problem on electronics?

I've found that if I get rid of the dials, and buttons and just put in dead centering two way toggle switches that the 3pt becomes much more reliable as far as trying to figure out all of the zillion possible combinations of switch and dial settings. I've done this on Iseki, Yanmar, and Mitsubishi and it works great. I have to thank Buck at EFC for helping on the first one. Has worked several times since. I prefer the marine grade toggle switches as they are weather sealed.
Use good quality connectors, run the wires through some of that plastic wire loom to prevent them from being damaged and you'll be good to go. I'm sure it would work in the Hino's too, just have to find the main four hot wires(two to raise and lower, two for the tilt if you have it) and ground all of the grounds.

My N209 had a very nice computer controlled three point hitch, and it even had a switch to flip between full up and a preset position (depth and side angle). The bad news is that after a couple of minutes the electronics would quite working, and I would have to turn the ignition off to reset the computer. It works great now with two toggle as described above.

Keith,
I too like the high tech 3pt controls, had only one or two that worked when I got them, have found very few that work when I get the tractors. I assume it was probably one of the reasons the tractors were traded in while still in Japan. When those tractors did mostly only 3pt hitch tiller work, that would be pretty inconvenient if your 3pt controls weren't working right. I would expect the computer boxes would be pretty expensive to repair and no fun to trouble shoot. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif without the right service equipment.

I must be lucky. The TA215 I have works perfectly. It has a joystick control for the raise and a toggle for the tilt. The auto up is a push button control that can be set for different raised and different lowered positions. It is really nice with a blade. I can tilt the deck and mow my ditch without getting into the gravel on the side of the road. This is the coolest setup I have ran across in 3 years.
